The County of Renfrew and its’ seventeen member municipalities support and foster growth and investment in all our communities to create and enhance an environment for prosperous, dynamic and sustainable businesses and lifestyles.

Land Use Permits
The County of Renfrew will assist with preliminary planning for all development and building projects with our General Inquiry Form for land use and official plan inquiries. This General Inquiry Form is a recommended first step for all projects and can be downloaded from the Planning and Land Use pages.
Auctioneer's License
On behalf of all municipalities, the county manages licences for auctioneers.
Road Sign Permit
We provide to tourism businesses a service to create and install Tourism Oriented Directional Signs (TODS) on County roads, and we assist municipalities that will install TODS on their municipal roads for tourism businesses.
