County of Renfrew seeking partners on Rapid Housing Initiative

The County of Renfrew is looking for partners on a new housing funding initiative.

The Rapid Housing Initiative is funded through the Federal Government’s National Housing Strategy and is delivered by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. This initiative can provide funding to support new affordable housing construction or the conversion of non-residential land and buildings to affordable housing.

The County of Renfrew is promoting the Rapid Housing Initiative to seek expressions of interest from non-profit organizations or developers who may be interested in partnering with the County to apply for Rapid Housing Initiative funding.

Anyone interested in this program is asked to submit their organization’s or company’s expression of interest by emailing the manager of Housing and Homelessness by February 10, 2023.
