WHAT: Inaugural Session Of County Of Renfrew County Council.
WHERE: VIRTUAL, LIVESTREAM EVENT.

Township of Laurentian Valley Reeve Debbie Robinson will formally take the Oath of Office at Tuesday’s session of County Council and will assume the Office of the Warden of the County of Renfrew for a one-year term. Warden Robinson was acclaimed to her second term as warden by her peers on County Council. Warden Robinson was nominated by fellow Councillor Michael Donohue, with Councillor James Brose as Seconder.
Warden Robinson will also present a brief outline of some of her goals and objectives for 2021 during the online inaugural address to County Council and guests. Virtually invited elected officials and dignitaries will also be bringing remarks.
In addition, there will be a special Provincial announcement following the ceremony from the Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, Lisa MacLeod, and Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry, John Yakabuski.
