Renfrew: Thanks to a generous $400 donation from the Rotary Club of Renfrew, Bonnechere Manor residents now have five additional hearing amplification systems that can be used to help improve communications for residents with hearing impairments. Bonnechere Manor “friendly visiting” volunteer and long time Renfrew Rotarian, Larry Holden has been using a facility-hearing amplifier to aid in his conversations while visiting residents. Larry noted that additional hearing amplifiers would help a greater number of residents participate in conversations and improve quality of life. Larry approached the Rotary Club on behalf of the Home and the Rotary Club of Renfrew generously donated $400, which allowed the Client Programs Department to purchase five additional “Super Ears”.
Thanks to Larry Holden and the Rotary Club of Renfrew for helping our residents improve communication with their loved ones!
