Pembroke: The Province of Ontario has announced a province-wide shutdown beginning December 26 at 12:01 am.
The County of Renfrew along with local municipalities, and the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, and Renfrew County Virtual Triage Centre are continuing to work collectively to ensure that all measures are being taken to protect our residents, and staff during this difficult time. The County of Renfrew remains committed to providing services to our residents in a timely and efficient manner during the continuing pandemic.
All essential services continue to be offered including regular road maintenance, Emergency Services (ambulance), Community Services, and Housing, development permits, etc. We are asking the public to continue conducting their communications with us via telephone, email, or through pre-arranged appointments. The County of Renfrew strongly encourages residents to continue taking every precaution in protecting themselves and our communities most vulnerable by following the guidance and protocols of the Renfrew County District Health Unit, and Provincial Guidelines – wear a mask, limit your contacts, wash your hands, maintain physical distancing, and avoid travel.
The County of Renfrew will continue to post all necessary and pertinent information to the County’s website, Facebook and Twitter Feeds, and update the local media on a regular basis.
