Community Services Committee

The Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk and the Director of Community Services, provide leadership to staff in the Child Care and Early Years Division, Ontario Works Division, and the Renfrew County Housing Corporation. These divisions provide services such as:

• Ontario Works
• Community Housing Programs
• Child Care and Early Years Services

Core responsibilities

The Community Services Committee make recommendations to County Council about the following matters:

• Child Care
• Community Housing – Renfrew County Housing Corporation
• Ontario Works
• United Way East Ontario
• Departmental budgets
• Facility improvements
• Program standards
