Operations Committee

The Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk and Director of Public Works and Engineering provide leadership to the staff in the Infrastructure Division and the Operations Division. These divisions are responsible for services such as:

• Roads maintenance
• Bridges
• Signage
• Winter control

Core responsibilities

The Operations Committee makes recommendations to County Council about the following matters:

• The Highway 17 Extension Advisory Committee
• The County Road 51 (Petawawa Boulevard) Committee
• The Designation of County roads
• Policy matters relating to infrastructure
• The Public Works and Engineering Department organizational structure
• The Finance and Administration Committee budgets
• Annual departmental/operational budgets
• The Operations Committee's budgets
