The Township of Laurentian Valley surrounds the City of Pembroke and is south of the Town of Petawawa. There are a number of excellent recreation facilities as well as an abundance of Crown lands, which border on Algonquin Park. Laurentian Valley has a balance of small urban and rural areas with a beautiful natural heritage found in many forests, rivers and lakes.
Laurentian Valley has access to excellent hunting and fishing areas as well as recreational trails for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, and more! The Township has approximately 20 kilometres of Ottawa River frontage and with recreational activities run by volunteer committees.
